December 2011 - Two murals were completed for the new expansion to the Monroe Clinic.

The first is "Good Mornin' Sunshine" painted in the nursery and depicts the moon and stars greeting the morning sun. The mural is approximately 24' long and 6 ' high and winds around the circular sofit. This project was drawn free hand and took took approximately 8 hours to complete.

The second mural is "The Haven 'Tween Heaven and Earth". This piece has a very organic garden feel with undulating swirls of color. The tree, which literally touches the planet earth in the lower left, connects the earth to the other elements of water and wind. The road through the Green County landscape disappears into the heavenly sky shared by the personified sun and moon. The left side of the mural begins with the the cool colors of night then morphs into the colors of day and then turn into the warm colors of the setting sun. wild flowers of our region bloom on both sides of the mural and a happy frog, snail and blue bird greet the butterflies and bees.
